Husband and wife tandem Megan Young and Mikael Daez talk about women thriving in tech and overcoming stereotypes, how the evolution of technology impacts the current educational landscape, and digital education at Mapúa Malayan Digital College (MMDC).

They are joined by two women in the tech industry Maricar ‘Cara’ Punzalan and Jenny Chua.


Cara is a second year student at MMDC taking up BS Information Technology with a Specialization in Network and Cybersecurity, who is also a program and project management analyst and mom. She talks about her journey with MMDC and how it has helped her wear many hats without sacrificing her time and energy for other responsibilities at work and at home, especially as a mom who strives to find balance fostering her relationships at home and achieving her career goals.


Jenny Chua is MMDC’s Vice President for Marketing, one of the driving forces into making digital college education more accessible for working students like Cara. She also shared her insights on the convenience of attending a digital college and how they support working students in order to flourish in the other facets of their lives.
