MMDC’s digital-first approach to higher learning allows professionals the flexibility and proximity to pursue Continuing Education, where they can pursue their diploma, if they’re undergraduates, or obtain a second degree, if they wish to further hone their skills. “We at MMDC understand that the priority for working students will always be work. Our model allows for this–we have flexible schedules, and our Projects, Problems and Case Studies methodology prepares and strengthens them for the challenges in their current and future careers,” says Derrick Latreille, MMDC’s Chief Learning Officer.
BluCru, after a successful 2-year trial period, was formally launched in 2019 in Bacolod, the City of Smiles. It has grown since then, offering services such as Strata Management, accounting, insurance, and tailor-made ‘bespoke’ services used to meet specific client needs. “We wanted to align ourselves with a college that could offer opportunities to students and workers here in Bacolod,” notes Victoria Seva, BluCru’s Office Manager. To further support the partnership, MMDC is providing Continuing Education Scholarships to Blucru’’s deserving employees. This will allow qualified employees to study at MMDC with a tuition-free education for 45 units, or the equivalent of one year.
