Students’ and Top Industry’s Pain Points Fuels Demand for MMDC Courses
Several pain points were identified in a study and several focus group discussions conducted with incoming students of MMDC. One of which was the anxiety caused by the inability to find a job. Another was a lack of course preparation and career planning, which often led young professionals to settle for work out of desperation without possessing the necessary skills required for the job. This is also the case for people looking to be promoted, already having entered the workforce but lacking the educational qualifications required for management positions.
With the evolving market, the job landscape is moving towards prioritizing IT and digital business positions concentrating on digital marketing and business development. Machine learning, automation, and information communication technologies have replaced positions that once relied on human labor.
Due to these concerns raised by our partners and top industry professionals, MMDC’s course offerings were designed to tackle these issues in a comprehensive and concise manner. Offering learning tracks led by industry specialists, students of MMDC will not only receive world-class education, but will also be gaining skills, knowledge, and most importantly, access to greater job availability through the MMDC Employer Partnership Program, where students become management trainees after completing the courses.
